Set of four chippy cottage chairs

this color just screams springtime to me! I love the rustic, chippy paint on these and different shadings of blue. These were from a local cottage. I guess I needed some spring in the store after all the snow! SOLD!

Pair of long industrial benches

Love these! Would be perfect for outdoor dining as a pair or buy just one! These are from an industrial plant in Salem, Mass. They were handcrafted, probably by the workers there. They measure 73 inches long (just over six feet) 13 inches wide and stand 17-1/2 inches tall. Both benches are sold!

I'm digging out some spring items! Galvanized planters

Very cool patina on these galvanized planter boxes. They are perfectly aged! One is 29 inches long and the other is 36 inches long. Spring is coming! SOLD!

Plant bench from reclaimed lumber

Rustic plant bench was a little family project this afternoon! I bought the metal frame on Sunday morning. I have a small pile of old barnboards and today I asked my son to run a few of them through the saw for me. I was going to use a couple of wide boards to make the top. He misunderstood my directions and cut them in thin strips so we went to Plan B! I actually ended up liking it better with five narrow boards on top. This could be used outside in a garden or on a porch. The bench measures 16 by 41 inches and stands 19 inches tall. SOLD!

Shipping trunk on wheels

This wooden trunk was shipped to Waterbury CT and has a neat label from Adams Express in Winsted CT. The top has a hand lettered address. Clean inside and on wheels! This measures 16 by 33 and stands 14 inches tall. SOLD!

Very cool office chair

Green leather seat and a cool industrial looking metal base, with wooden backrest. On wheels, and in excellent condition! SOLD!

Metal typewriter table

This little typewriter table is on wheels and has two side tables that lift and lock into place. Fold down when not needed. This little cutie is in great shape! SOLD!

Two long tool totes

Found not one, but two tool totes this week. Both with metal handles! The dark one is 30 by 9 and 10-1/2 inches tall. The other is 34 by 8 and also 10-1/2 inches tall. It won't be long before spring comes and these make great planters!

Large Tool box/cubby cabinet

This is one of my favorite kind of pieces to find. It started out as one thing (a tool chest) and then was reinvented to suit someone's need. Shelves were added and little cheese box drawers to hold nails, screws, etc. Things someone would need to carry to a job site. I think it's just the best kind of make do! This measures 19 by 9 and stands 27 inches tall when upright as shown in photos. SOLD!

Folky Rooster weathervane!

This is a big piece and makes a great visual statement! This rooster weathervane has been attached to an old distressed wooden base. His directional arrow is missing one part, but all directions are intact. He stands just at four feet tall and is approx. 2 feet across. SOLD!

Country one drawer stand

Handcrafted little country style one drawer stand. Has shelf below too! This measures 19-1/2 by 19 and stands 30 inches tall. Sold!

Ice Fishing tool by Kurtz Bros. Manchester, CT

I have had several of the strainers used to clear the ice fishing hole of chunks of ice, but have never seen one of these! It's a three in one tool. This also has a retractable gaff, and a ruler for measuring the fish! So neat! Made by Kurtz Bros. of Manchester, Ct. Thanks to my wonderful friends from Connecticut for this sweet find! SOLD!

and a few odds and ends!

Love this galvanized washboard. Usually they have a wooden top with advertising, but this one has galvanized tin on top and bottom! A funky home made cage to hold some kind of animal! The cage measures 15-1/2 by 8 and is 9-1/2 inches tall with a leather handle. Front door folds down for access. A pair of industrial metal lights made by Bryant. These will need to be rewired, but they could also be repurposed into some type of standing display! The lights are 22-1/2 inches tall and at widest part where socket is has a diameter of 5-1/2 inches.

and more boxes!

I didn't measure every box, but the starch box is 11-1/4 by 7 by 4 inches tall, just to give an idea of sizes.
