Newly consigned items!
Darlene of Homely Cottage consigned two chairs this week. I love her work and was happy to be able to offer these beautifully hand painted items to my customers. This old chair has the look I love, with a crackle aged finish, and a lovely scene painted on the seat.
Child's chair with bunny
Beautiful little child's chair stands 24 inches tall. Wonderful hand painted bunny and country houses.

Bread box in red
Great tin bread box in red. You can't see it in the photo, but it does say Bread on the front in faded script. Wonderful red!
This is sold, but we have another cool one in blue with two doors and a shelf!
Wooden bucket
Large wooden bucket with picture on front-Home for the Holidays. Measures 15 inches in diameter. I think this would be perfect for holding kindling wood by the fire!

Valentine's day candles, and potpourri
My wonderful candle supplier, Country Keepsakes of Watkins Glen, NY created this wonderful scent for Valentine's day. It's called Cupid and it smells so good, very sweet! They also will make potpourri in the scent you choose, so I chose Cupid for that as well. The potpourri has little clothespins, buttons, rose hips, cinnamon sticks, and little scented hearts! Valentine's day will be here before we know it (and we will be one month closer to spring!)
Panoramic view of the route to China
An interesting wood sign that the auctioneer said was taken from the side of a barn. It shows the panoramic route to China by way of Oregon Railroad and the Pacific Ocean. Unusual piece! Measures 24 by 34 inches.

Spice set
Can we resist anything in this old red paint? My mother had the same salt and pepper set, or maybe just the salt shaker? The rest of them have all lost their labels. Little rack in red, well used!
Wood bowl with handpainted pinecones
This looked like a log cabin item! I just love the handpainted pinecones. Slightly irregular in shape, approx. 10 inches in diameter.

A small portion of the dollhouse accessories
This is just a small portion of dollhouse accessories. If I had more room, there could be more out! A great selection, and Gail has offered a 50% discount on her prices. Great bargains!

Snow and snowflake lights
I was joking around when I hung these snowflake lights that I was afraid it would invite the snow to come. I wonder if I take them down, will it stop?
The truck is covered with snow!
I wanted to make a big snowman (or woman) to put in the back of the truck, but the snow is just too powdery, and wouldn't hold.

Big metal water jug with red cross
I just love this can! It's very heavy, and I assume it was used for water. It has a removable cover on top and two handles, plus a spout for dispensing. I don't know if it was an official Red Cross can, but someone painted a red cross on the top.

Copper box with handles
I found this great box at an auction. I didn't realize it was copper until I started cleaning it. Two handles, one with wood still attached.

Pretty dish set made in England. Staffordshire Ironstone in Lucerne pattern. One of my customers asked what I was serving for dinner! The maple table and chairs that are holding the dishes has been reduced in price. Four chairs and table is now $85! Perfect starter set.
Child's chair
Cute little child's chair. The man who sold it to us said it was in his family for over 80 years. It was painted pink at one time, and then brown. It now has pink areas showing through.

Coming Soon-Selection of dollhouse furniture and accessories!
My friend Gail had a miniature and dollhouse store that she closed a few years ago. She asked me if I would be interested in selling some of her items. Several people have asked me if I carry dollhouse furniture, so here it is! The pieces shown here along with a few others will be available this weekend. Next week, there will be even more. Gail is going to put together a collection of items. This will be a fun addition to Log Cabin Antiques! Shown here are a handpainted hutch and another handpainted cupboard.
Miniature table with four chairs
Sweet little table with four chairs. Table has handpainted daisies and chairs have daisies on backs and birdhouses on seats.
Miniature Adirondack chair and bench
So cute!! Adirondack chairs in miniature form. These look so inviting to sit and relax in. There are two chairs with footstools, the bench and small table and another little round table. These will be sold in groupings. For instance, the chair and footstool will sell together, and the bench with smaller table will sell together, etc.
