Horns, the boss taking a rest

Horns is the goat we adopted from the SPCA a few years back. We just found him a girlfriend! He is neutered, so no chance for any cute babies, but at least he has another goat to keep him company. If you come here, you may just see them because they love to hang out in front of the store.

She's a cutie!

What a face. Her personality is just as sweet as her look. Her name was Gaelin when we got her, but I have been alternating between calling her Girly girl, Missy and Baby girl. She is two years old.

Telephone boxes

Western Electric Co. phone box. Patent date 1894. Not totally complete, but very cool!

Telephone box with bells that still ring when you crank the handle. Great green paint. Green phone is SOLD!

Treenware bowl with painted flag

When I first saw this, I thought it was an old metal bowl! But it's made of treenware with a flag painted on the bottom. Has hook for hanging if desired.

Cowpoke!

A single yoke used on a calf to teach them boundaries! The long wooden piece in front would poke the calf if they got too close to a fence or a gate.

Post office cubbies

Missing some of it's little sections, but this conveniently allows you to display some taller items.

Painted pine door

Pretty painted pine door is white on one side and knotty pine on the other. I also have the trim piece with the rest of the latch hardware. These make great display pieces if you sell wreaths or quilts.

Darlene's cool horse weight doorstop

Darlene of Homely Cottage bought this heavy, old horse weight here. They used to use these on delivery wagons when they were making their rounds. This would anchor the horse in place while they went in to deliver goods. Darlene did a beautiful hand painted scene of a farm with two horses in the foreground. Perfectly repurposed as a doorstop.

Blue tool trunk

Great tool trunk in blue paint. A little rustic, but it would make a neat coffee table with lots of storage. Nice and clean inside. Or you could use it as a base for a stack of trunks!

Late 1800's mop squeezer

Wonderful primitive piece. Patent date is late 1800's. Has one handle which will push the two wooden sides together to squeeze the water out of the mop. Bucket is sold separately.

Dressmaker's form

I bought this way up in NH, at least 100 miles from home. It turned out the lady selling it lived in my old hometown and was two years ahead of me in school! What a small world. This dressmaker's form has been well used but would still be perfect for displaying vintage clothes. Metal stand is adjustable.

Vintage picnic cooler

Vintage picnic cooler. Tartan toter has a wool tartan picnic blanket, and some of those old pastel and wicker cups. Tote has a tartan pattern and neat lid with suggestions for use.

Late 1800's Willcox sewing machine

Cool trunk with drop down lid
