This is just a small sampling of the new items in the store this week. Remember, I only post a few photos each week, and have lots more unusual finds available. Each day, I also usually bring in at least five more items as things sell.

Burrows adding machine shipping crate

Just love these wonderful old boxes. Nicely dovetailed joints on corners, and graphics on front read Burrows Adding Machine Co. Box measures 22-1/2 by 14 inches by 12 inches high. Wooden handles on sides, and old latch on front.

Awesome multi-functional table

This great table could be used in so many ways. It would make a fabulous potting bench, or a laundry room table, a sofa table, or it's just the right height for gift wrapping. No need to stoop over because this table stands 3 feet tall! Measures 57-1/2 by 20 inches. Black painted legs with beautiful natural wood top, 3 boards wide.

Wolverine Toy washing machine

Awesome green Sunny Suzy washing machine has a little wringer on top, and it actually turns when you crank the handle. After I bought this, everyone that walked by me had a comment. "you doing some laundry?" "Great color on that washing machine" "Where did you find that?" (well there isn't a booth selling them, this was the only one!) "Wow, great piece" It was pretty funny. I should have had a stack of business cards to hand out so they would know where to come and buy it!

Fantastic branding iron-letter A

Found in a barn in Cody, Wyoming. Cody was the home of Buffalo Bill. This great branding iron has a long handle and the letter A on the end. Wonderful piece of history.

3 piece bathroom set made by Tootsie Toys

I knew Tootsie Toy made little metal cars, but I did not know they branched out into dollhouse items. Sweet little pink metal set, well loved!

Small bench and toy phone

Cute little metal toy phone in my favorite color! The little wooden bench is a nice size, measuring 22 inches by 14 inches and standing 12 inches tall. The top is made of individual wood strips that have been joined together. Handy little bench.

My very favorite piece of the week, maybe the month, maybe year!

This is just beautiful and very unique with its dual rear wheels. I have never, ever seen one like it. I was told that this was a real farm wagon used for hauling. Not a child's toy wagon. Very heavy duty and just wonderful with its old green and red paint. It has a handle with a remnant of old rope attached. It's long, just under 4 feet long and 16 inches wide. I know I am going to get a ton of phone calls on this one, so I will price it here and now. $149.00 for this one of a kind beauty. (Flowers not included in that price! )

Billy Schmitt's tool box

This could very well be the brother of John Jacob Jingleheimer Schmitt! Not really, different spelling, but I just couldn't resist. Great green paint on this old tool box along with the stenciled name Billy Schmitt. One lift out tray and latch on front. Box measures 28-1/2 inches long by 13-3/4 inches deep and 11 inches tall.

Medicine cabinet

My very creative friend Deb, of Rustic Country Handcrafts gave me this idea. The front door of the cabinet was missing its glass, so it has a wide wallpaper border in its place. The first time I saw one of Deb's pieces like this, I thought she had handpainted the scene, but she said "no, it's wallpaper border!" She's so clever! 3 glass shelves are inside. SOLD!

Dover cream can

This can has been painted many times, so it has various shades coming through. Love the top of it best of all, with its wide mouth and crackling effect, giving it a great aged look. SOLD!

Wine rack has many uses!

If you sell or have lots of rolling pins, then you need this rack. Metal rack nicely displays your pins, or it could be used in the bathroom to hold hand towels. Or, use it as intended..... for wine bottles. Very handy and multi-functional!

Artist's paint box

Very cool artist's paint box has handle and latches for carrying. In addition to the traces of paint splatters, it also comes with some old tubes of paint, and a bottle of linseed oil. Nicely dovetailed edges on box and brass hardware. Box measures 17" by 13" by 4" high. SOLD!

Little pine table

Little pine table with two drawers. Legs are "minty" or seafoam green and top is off white. Table measures 32 inches wide by 18 inches deep and 27 inches tall. Priced to sell! SOLD!

Folky little tool tote

Great blue paint on this wooden tool tote. I like the repair to the handle. Someone obviously patched it back together to make it still usable. Little divided compartments make for useful storage. Dovetail joins on edges. SOLD!

Vintage metal lawn chairs

We have two of these wonderful green metal lawn chairs. They remind me of summer on Lake Winnipausakee! Perfect for your porch or cabin!

Custom made mailbox

Does your mailbox get vandalized by hoodlums? This is the one for you then! Custom made of steel with diamond plate on the roof, it must weigh 60 pounds. My son's friend said "if anyone tried to hit this with a baseball bat they would get pulled right out of the car!" My favorite part is the metal rooster. He's the flag that you raise to let the mail carrier know you have mail waiting to be picked up. He folds down inside the roof when not needed. This would also be great just out in the garden as a decorative piece. SOLD!

National cash register-it's electric!

There was something about this old cash register that just spoke to me. I spotted it at a huge flea market. I was dickering on the price with the guy selling it. He said he would take my offer if it was still unsold before I left. As I was walking around, it was just bothering me! I was afraid it would be gone by the time I got back. Luckily it wasn't. No one else probably wanted to carry it, as it is quite heavy. It's not too big, only 12 inches wide by 17 inches tall and 7 inches deep. Who knows? there may be money locked inside it still.

Fresh from a barn in Kingston!

Lovely old green paint, and awesome handles on each side. The top has been repaired with hinges. This is what I love about old things.....when something broke, it wasn't thrown away, they just figured out a way to patch it back together. This gives these old pieces great history! Measures 18 by 16-1/2 inches and stands 17 inches tall. SOLD!

Handy little shelf with boot jack ends

I think this has a great look to it. You can stand it on a table for added height to a display, or it can be hung on the wall. Boot jack ends.

Myers antique water pump

I learned that these were mostly used on a farm to bring water to an area that needed watering. The tank would be filled with water and then there was a hand cranked sprayer. Patent date of 1912. Made in Ashland, Ohio. What a fantastic garden piece this would be! SOLD!

Wonderful garden piece!

I loved this old rusty tub, but my husband thought I was nuts for buying it. He said "it has a hole in the bottom!" I said "no one will care!" (It's not like you are going to give the baby a bath in it!) This has that great aged and well used look that can't be reproduced. I forgot to measure it, but would estimate that it's about two feet long.

Scales!

The smaller scale on top has been in the store for a while, but wanted to show just how big the newly acquired scale on the bottom is! Accu-weigh scale has minty green on base and the tray has a nice aged, rusty look. Large scale is SOLD!

Old wooden sap bucket

Nice red wash on this old bucket. Also has some silvery paint on outside and inside. Bale handle. Love the way it looks hanging from the beam! SOLD!

Early oak commode

Pretty oak commode just needs some very minor TLC to make it perfect! Great look, and price. Measures 27-1/2 by 14 inches and is 28 inches tall to the counter top area, then approx. another 7 inches tall for the back piece.

Visit the goats!

The goats are closer to the store! They love to visit with customers and now they can be much closer. Girly loves to climb on cars too, and she wasted no time jumping up into the back of the old rusty truck!

Cool movie theater seat

Great conversation piece! Vintage movie theater seat. Seat folds up flat just like the ones in a real theater. Perfect for the movie buff in your life!

These never seem to last long. Great little cupboard with three shelves inside. Hand painted with pine cone garland. measures 36-1/2 inches tall by 21-1/2 inches wide by 14-1/2 inches deep.

Made of wood and just perfect to hold some pretty spring plants. Table top measures approx. 16 inches in diameter and stands 25-1/2 inches tall. SOLD!

Sunbeam bread door push

These metal door pushes would be attached to an old country store screen door to prevent people from pushing on the screen. Great advertising and they are often shown in country magazines adorning a screen door. Makes a great addition to your country decor.
