The exterior of our new addition
We are almost done, just need to build permanent steps out front. I planted my little garden last night, and my sister in law always puts witch hats on her shrubs, so I borrowed her idea! Don't forget our open house for 5th year anniversary and debut of the addition will be October 8 and 9. Details to follow soon!
Great garden bike!
Schwinn boy's bicycle comes with double basket on rear fender which is perfect for holding the bounties of fall! Cornstalks, and bittersweet are included, or add your own fall display. The possibilities are endless!
SOLD!
Assorted clock makers drawers
These drawers came from a clockmaker's cabinet. Assorted sizes. Oak front with galvanized metal drawer. Some of them still have decals listing clock parts. Pretty cool!
Parker Bros. Fortune Teller Game
Entertain your friends at your next Halloween party or seance! Great graphics on card box and pieces!
SOLD!
Gothic cast iron cross
You may have seen this before, but I love the idea of using it for Halloween! Most likely came from a church or cemetary. Rusty and primitive makes a spooky display! Measures 50 inches tall with a span of 24 inches at the widest point
SOLD!
You can never have enough scales (right Maria?)
Little Viking scale is missing it's scale pan, but holds a pumpkin perfectly instead!
SOLD (to Maria!!)
Primitive table
Love the look of this early table. Square nails were used on the table top. It is missing one leaf, but still a great table with one drawer. Measures 17 by 17 inches and stands 29 inches tall.
SOLD!
Pulley wheel clamps to table or workbench
Cool little pulley wheel clamps onto table or workbench. The belt is gone, but these make great architectural art. They have such a wonderful visual element to them.

Our addition is open!
This is only an unofficial opening of this room! I get two weeks with my Halloween displays and then everything will come out and all the guy stuff goes in for the GRAND OPENING! The weekend of October 8th and 9th will be the big debut of this room! More details to follow!
Halloween window
The pictures don't do it justice! I sure do love this bay window. I knew with a little paint and cleaning, it would be as good as new!
Candy, old and new!
I had decided to bring candy back to the store. I had it here when I first opened, but I was my own best customer! Now that we have the beautiful general store counter, it just needed candy displayed on it again! There are some old candy boxes, most empty, but one box of Conversation hearts has never been opened. Then we have a selection of candy in bags, licorice, fireballs, jelly beans, tootsie rolls, Swedish fish, etc. I just have to stay away from it!
Beautiful primitive pram
As soon as I saw this pram, I knew I had to have it for my Halloween display! The pram itself is just lovely, obviously needs some work, but the wheels alone are fantastic!
Iron witch weathervane on stand
I saw this gorgeous witch weathervane a few years ago in an antique store and fell in love with it. I finally bought it from the owner this year, and if it never sells, I will happily keep it for myself! Patented 1930, it is missing part of it's broom and two of the directional letters. SOLD!
Ideal wash tubs
Great old Ideal wash tubs on legs. Rolling washstand has two big bins for washing and drains to remove water. This comes with a top so that you could display things if desired, or take the top off, and use as washstand alone. Great look for your laundry room!
SOLD!
Chicken feeder top?
I think this was the top to an old galvanized chicken feeder, but I think it makes a pretty good rat cage too!
SOLD!
Antique traverse sled
Love the yellow paint on this sled. I thought it made a wonderful display for fall. Comes with bittersweet wreath. Crow and moon are sold separately.
SOLD!
Spooky Candleabra
Ornate candleabra comes with five glittery tapers and one plain black taper candle in center. Perfect centerpiece for your Halloween table setting. SOLD!
Witch's dress form
It is like she laid out her clothes for the next day. Black dress, shawl, hat and necklace. After Halloween is over, there is a antique dress form beneath that you can use all year round.
SOLD!
Sweet Annie
I have a few bunches of Sweet Annie. It smells so good! Excellent for crafting, keeps it's scent for a long, long time. The last time I had Sweet Annie, it sold it out in about an hour! Also available a primitive drying rack.
Sweet Annie is SOLD OUT!
Perfect for witch's shoes
Antique leather boots, make perfect witch shoes. I sometimes put a pair of green and black striped socks in these old boots.

Work continues on the store addition
All that is left is the electrical work, some trim boards, and I need to paint the floor red just like the rest of the store. We are hoping for an October open house. Keeping our fingers crossed! Can't wait to fill this space up!
Awesome little cupboard made from Mother's Oats crates
This was covered with some old wallpaper or contact paper. I can't imagine covering up this beauty! A little vinegar and scrubbing got the job done. Front has been painted, but sides are natural wood showing the Mother's Oats logo. Great little cupboard measures 19-1/2 by 11 by 20 inches.
SOLD!
Pretty wooden bench in perfect fall color!
Wooden bench is pegged together on legs. Measures 35-1/2 inches long and 11 inches wide and stands 16 inches tall. This would be so pretty on a front porch with some fall decorations!
SOLD!
Adorable little wooden tote
Another of my favorite finds this week. Wooden tote measures 15 inches by 9-1/2 inches and stands 12 inches tall to handle. Great red paint on ends!
SOLD!
Wooden wheel
Love the look of this, one of my favorite finds of the week! One side is solid wood, and the other is made up of five pieces of wood fitted together. Measures almost 14 inches in diameter. The auctioneer thought it might have been the lid of the barrel or a crock. I don't always care what something was originally used for, but buy them just because I like the way they look! This would look great hanging on a wall or from a beam.
SOLD!
Corrine's corner!
Be sure to check out Corrine's corner when you visit the store. She finds wonderful things, and brings a little more feminine side to the shop! Lovely jewelry, glassware, and pottery are just some of the many unique items you will see.
Metal architectural pieces
I was just drawn to the shape of these. They are marked Hoeft Bros. Chicago. When I did some research, the Hoeft Bros. manufactured poultry supplies. Not positive that these were for chickens, but could have been a feeding dish for chicks? I just like the way they look. I hung one on my wall of rusty art on the back of the store. These are 7 inches from tip to tip.
SOLD!
Deb has restocked her Rustic Country Handcrafts!
Her supply was depleted over the weekend, so she brought in some new items on Sunday. Beautiful small table runner or candle mat, quilted, and embroidered with pumpkins and teastained. Also, the pretty little pillow with more pumpkins and teastained. Many more wonderful items to choose from in the store.
