Awesome crib on wheels
If you sell or collect dolls, or teddy bears, then this is for you! Antique crib on wheels, has the nice chippy look I love. Hard rubber wheels and the base of the crib is wide wooden board. Cool looking display piece! Measures 40 inches long by 32-1/2 inches tall and 19-1/2 inches wide.
SOLD!
Penguins available for adoption!
What else belongs inside an old crib on wheels but baby penguins? These are cottony soft and just so precious! The large ones are 9-1/2 inches tall and the small are 7 inches tall.

Little chalkboard tote box
Handy little chalkboard tote box. Top slides open and chalk and supplies can be stored inside. Has a little handle on top for carrying. Measures 11-1/2 inches by 9-1/4 inches. Two available. Both SOLD!
Maria's adorable snowman head
These came in on Saturday and have already been selling. I was closed on Sunday due to snow and power outage, but I am guessing these will go fast. They are so cute! Hand made by the talented Maria!
Eureka Butter Worker's Table patent date 1886
This was in the store several months ago, but I moved it into storage for lack of space. Well, it's back.........! I love it out in the middle of the room as opposed to up against the wall where it wasn't showing it's full potential. Great graphics on one end reads Eureka Butter Worker made in Bellows Falls, VT. Patent date 1886. It measures 59 inches long by 22-1/2 inches wide and stands 25-1/2 inches tall.
SOLD!
Repro De Laval Cream separator tin sign
Love the graphics on this tin sign. A repro of an old advertisement. The sign measures 32-1/2 inches tall by 21-1/2 inches wide. Also, a vintage resin rooster. He has a few minor issues, but looks great sitting on a shelf or cupboard!
Rooster is SOLD!
Sign is SOLD!
Cute resin turkeys!

My favorite find this week!
It takes years of painting many different colors, and layers flaking off to get just this look. I love the doors on this piece! The hinges are also cool, signed Clarke Patent in script, which I believe dates them back to the 1860's. Inside are two shelves. The cupboard measures 30 inches wide by 15 inches deep by 36 inches tall. I have said it before, but if I had room in my house, I would keep this one!
SOLD!
Tool tote
Another great little wooden tote has yellow and red accents. Kind of reminds me of a clamming basket with the slats. Tote measures 18 inches long by 12 inches tall and sides are 6-1/2 inches tall.
SOLD!
Corrine's clown game
I love the graphics on this game! Vintage clown skillball game made by Pressman Co. NY. Measures 17 by 16-1/2 inches.
SOLD!
Folky pig weathervane
Tin pig and directional arrows are mounted on a wooden block. The pig stands 24 inches tall. Nice country look!

From the "guy room"
From Salisbury Beach! The old Tilt-a-Whirl ride sign showing how many tickets you needed to ride. Also to secure your belongings! I still remember going there in the 70's and my Uncle Rick got on and once that started spinning all his change came flying out of his pockets! The sign is wooden with tin front. Great beach memorabilia. Measures 12 by 38 inches.
Mack Truck hood ornament
Mack the bulldog, hood ornament. I found this little aluminum piece that he fits just perfectly on since he's not bolted to the hood of a truck anymore!
SOLD!
For the "guy room"
Cool old grease measuring device. It is still full of grease, and the crank actually works and will pump up grease. Love the red paint! SOLD!

primitive butter worker
Last week, I had a little one with no legs, this week, I have a larger one with the stand. These were used to press the buttermilk out of the butter and were slanted so that the milk would run down into a bucket or catch. The sides are not original, but the rest is old and primitive! Measures 32 inches long by 27 inches wide at widest point and stands 27 inches at highest point.
SOLD!
Old tool box in yellow!
Sturdy tool box with bright yellow paint. Box measures 14 inches front to back, 13 inches tall and 34 inches wide.

The real thing, not a repro! Porcelain barber shop sign
Fantastic porcelain barber shop sign with depiction of pole and advertising for Wildroots. Sign measures 39 inches long and 13-1/2 inches tall. Dated in corner 3-57. Great, great piece!

Large wooden industrial or mill wheel
Measures 3 feet in diameter, and is very heavy! Made entirely of wood fitted together. The wheel is 11 inches thick and has two feet on bottom so this could be displayed flat on the floor as well. The industrial stuff is hot right now!

Sifting basket with long handle
Along the same idea as a grain sifter is this long handled sifting basket. Measures almost a perfect square of 17 inches by 17 inches and with the handle included stands 46 inches tall. I love it with the ornamental corn!

One of my favorite finds this week
This is the top section of an old butter worker. This would have been on legs or a stand, but I think it would make an excellent display piece on an old country table, as is. It can be filled with pumpkins or gourds, or greens and berries for the winter holidays. Still has its wooden handle which would slide back and forth to work the butter. Measures 24 inches long and is 13-1/2 inches at widest point. Sides are 5-1/2 inches high.
SOLD!
Large tool box/trunk
This is perfect for a coffee table because it has all that storage, and you can hide or store a bunch of stuff inside! Handpainted design all around. The trunk has two handles and measures 38" wide by 18" front to back and stands 17-1/2" tall.
Note: It always amazes me to see a detail in photos that I have missed in person. I just saw that the lid reads Made in ...... can't quite make it out. I will have to investigate where it was made. Very cool!
SOLD!
Holy Toledo, this is one heavy scale!
I had it all planned out to use the Holy Toledo line in my title thinking this was a Toledo scale. When I went out to photograph it, I saw that it was actually a Chattilon. I decided to use my line anyway! It is very big, and very heavy. I am guessing it weighs 50 pounds at least. This is another of my husband's finds. I love it hanging over the candy counter. It has a nice large basket for display, in this case, some of my vintage candy boxes.
SOLD!
Pretty wooden tote
These are so popular, they never last for more than a couple of days in the store. This one has a nice high handle section, and a great look to it. It measures 24 inches long by 11 inches wide.
SOLD!
Old sap bucket and wooden sap bucket cover
I have sold a lot of sap buckets, but I don't get too many with paint on them. Love the yellow. Perfect for fall decorating! Old sap bucket cover would hang over the bucket to keep out the leaves and twigs, etc. One of my crafty customers will either paint on this or repurpose it somehow!
Sap bucket is SOLD!
Fairbanks scale with large tray
I love these old scales. Have to pick them up whenever I see them. This one is a Fairbanks and has a nice large tray perfect for displaying whatever you choose to use it for!
Hats, hats, hats!
Bought these at an auction on Monday. They would be perfect for Halloween costumes or for building a scarecrow!
MAD HATTER HAT IS SOLD!

5th anniversary and grand opening Open House!
Combination 5th year anniversary and debut of our addition and new "guy stuff" room Open House will be held Saturday and Sunday, October 8th and 9th from 10-5. Fall refreshments will be served and there will be free drawings for some fall themed prizes as well. In addition to the new room full of guy stuff, lots of Halloween goodies still available, along with some new (old!) primitives and other fun finds. Come and check out the new room, have something tasty to eat, enter the drawing. We would love to see you!
Halloween window at night!
My friend took this amazing shot outside the store last night while we were working. I love it! All my spooky friends are on display!
Quarter midget race car
Here is the car that inspired the addition to the store! My husband found the tail section and hood at an automotive flea market. The hood is aluminum and the rear section was fabricated from Kaiser fenders. He took front and rear axles and made a frame and then a friend who fabricates race cars built the rest! This car doesn't have an engine but looks like it is ready to race. NOT FOR SALE! This was a labor of love and is in the store so kids can sit in the cockpit and imagine themselves as racers!
