A family project!
We bought the metal wheels and chassis from a friend after the rest of the wagon had rotted away. The chassis had an emblem which showed a wagon and cart company that we learned makes display wagons for grocery, retail stores like Old Navy, and other places of business. My son Nick worked on the wheels for two hours or so freeing them up so they would turn as they had been rusted in place. We built a new body for the wagon using old rough cut lumber, some of it even had nibbles from our late horse's fence! I painted the sides only, to match the green on the wheels, left inside boards natural weathered wood, and we are just waiting on an iron handle that is being refitted as we speak. This just barely made it in my back door going up the ramp, had to take the door off the hinges to fit this through. Great for fall display, or would also be awesome for winter diplay of trees and greenery. This wagon measures 68 inches long, just a bit over 5-1/2 feet. It is 28 inches wide and stands 29 inches tall. SOLD!
