My friends Alan and Judy found this for me. He told me it was used to put out fires. Very interesting piece. The broom is made of sticks or reeds, and it has a tin piece nailed around the top to keep them all in place. Of course, anyone who knows me, knows what I would do with this! It is perfect for a witch! Although I do find the actual use of it to be quite fascinating!
