Turkey time!

Sadly for me, it's time to start moving away from Halloween and towards Thanksgiving and winter.
Beautiful turkey platter with 22k gold trim by Sabin. Smaller platter would probably hold a 12-14 pound turkey.

Rustic bench with boot jack ends

Somewhat rustic, but a great look. Boot jack ends, and nice primitive finish. 39-1/2 inches long by 16 inches tall.

and another little one on top!

Another little bench perched atop the larger one.
Little one is SOLD!

Chicken coop

I have already shown this chicken coop, but just had to show my cute little rooster. People kept thinking this was a lobster trap. My friend Ed told me he had just bought some little roosters that looked very lifelike. I told him I needed one, and he said he would sell me one. He went all the way home and came back this afternoon with three. I had a hard time deciding, but this one reminded me of one of my old long gone roosters. Maybe now people will realize it's a chicken coop!

Pretty white box with lid

Wonderful wood box with lid and clasp. Perfect for a little coffee table with plenty of storage inside. Some blue paint is showing through the white, for that great distressed look! Measures 30 inches by 15-1/2 and is 15 inches high.
SOLD!!

Beautiful older stoneware crock with lid. In very good condition. This belongs to a friend who said it has been in her family for many, many years.

A table with drop leaf sides and 4 chairs

Cute little set with two drop leaf sides and 4 chairs. I could only fit two chairs in this spot, but the other two are here in the store. Priced to sell!
SOLD!

Country Keepsakes candles in fall scents

I displayed some of the wonderful fall scented candles about a month ago in this old Coke case. I sold out of them almost immediately, and had to re-order. Thank goodness for Becky of Country Keepsakes for not only making these awesome candles, but also for getting them out to me so quickly! When the shipment arrived, my house smelled like cinnamon, and pumpkins, etc. I almost hated to take them out to put into the store!

Popcorn popper

I love to decorate popcorn poppers with some of these mini ornamental corn bunches. Finding the smaller bunches was quite the challenge this year. I finally spotted it at Magnusson's Farm stand right on Route 125. Very reasonably priced too!

Chenille pumpkins

Made by my friend Sue, these pumpkins were made from an old chenille spread. Felt leaves and little wood stems.

Cool masks just in time for Halloween!

Just one of my great finds at yesterday's Dover antique market. I love the look of these paper mache masks. Made in India
