Heavy steel pig

sometimes I buy things just because I like them and don't even know what their purpose is. Case in point is this very heavy steel pig! It might have been used for target practice. In any case, I liked it! This measures 23 by 15 inches. SOLD!

Fresh from a barn, this pulley wheel has probably done a fair share of hoisting. Love the look of this piece! The wheel has a diameter of 18 inches, and is mounted onto blocks of wood which makes for a great display. SOLD!

small enough to be used by kids as a play table but cute enough to be used as a side or end table. Would also be great atop another table for height building display. Both leaves fold out. This little sweetie measures 22 by 12 and stands 21 inches high. SOLD!

It's beginning to look a little like Christmas!

If you follow me on facebook, you may have seen this photo from our trip to Connecticut!

We took a quick picture of our first load of items purchased at the Raceway flea market last Sunday. It's sometimes hard to see exactly what the items are when they are piled in a wagon. Here are two of the top items that day. Underneath were some other finds including galvanized washtubs, an old flax hatchel with handle, and more. The Sealtest ice cream sign is 27 by 51 inches. Embossed and raised letters. The cupboard was a trunk at one time I believe. Then shelves were added to make it a little cupboard, maybe for a garage as it is quite rustic. The cupboard measures 21 inches wide by 49 inches tall and 10 inches deep. Sealtest sign is sold! Cupboard is SOLD!

Unique folding snowshoeing sled!

Made by Sno-craft co, of Norway, Maine, this lightweight sled would have been used when snowshoeing. Sled folds up tall to carry and then folds down to tow a load of supplies, etc. Wonderful ingenious design and look! All pieces joined are fitted together by pegs. This sled measures 17-1/2 inches wide and 38-1/2 inches tall. SOLD!

Cool checkered flag racing sled by Paris Mfg.

This would be great hanging in a garage or racing enthusiast's house. Paris Mfg. sled with checkered flag, and gas gauge, etc. just like a car! It even had floating steering. This sled is 46 inches tall. SOLD!

Wooden skis

Great old wooden skis with rusty bindings attached. Nice for decorating! Sold!

Antique wooden ice skates

These would screw into bottom of shoes for skating. Brass hardware and great wooden patina. Missing leather straps but still a great display! SOLD!
