Rustic potting bench

I think we are all ready for spring after this winter! It makes me happy to bring in some spring touches. Lovely rustic potting bench with a big shelf below to hold supplies and a counter area to work. This measures 43 by 21 and stands 48 inches tall. Two handles on end add another 9 inches. Bee skep is sold! Potting bench is SOLD!

Fantastic patina on this old galvanized tub!

This has already been drilled, and ready to drain. So it is perfect for planting, or fill with ice and beverages at your next party. This measures 42 inches by 24 inches. SOLD!

Interesting conversation piece!

This is an old roller from a barrel piano. It has notes for several songs which were obviously painstakingly placed in just the precise location. There would have been a lever to change the tune. Made of wood with metal points, and a fantastic gear that would have turned the roll. This is very big. 46 inches long and 14 inches in diameter. I think it would be very interesting as an architectural display! SOLD!

Old store sign

Great aging on this old wooden sign that came from a store. This is double sided, and measures 48 by 12 inches. SOLD!

Tenement style dollhouse!

Those of you who know me, know I love Halloween. How I would love to make this a haunted dollhouse! How fun would that be? This is so unique, made from old crates, with faded and torn wallpaper. It looks like the residents just abandoned it. This is big! Stands 41-1/2 inches tall, 32 inches across, 19 inches deep and then the little side porch is 18 by 9 by 6. I think it would make a cool bookcase or display piece. It doesn't have to be used as a dollhouse. SOLD!
Cool little box with handle. I love the crackle effect on this piece! Forgot to measure it but around 12-14 inches across and maybe 9 inches tall? SOLD!

Very long and heavy crate!

Looks can be deceiving! This is 47 inches long by 12 inches by 6-1/2 inches. Very solid and heavy! Great for a display! SOLD!

Another sawhorse bench

Country store items

Two large glass country store jars, and one smaller. I was using these for candy on the candy counter but replaced these with some newer style jars. Also a wooden box that reads Roger's cough candy. All are SOLD!

Half decoys

Great half decoys are meant to go in field. Have stake to stick in ground. I love them in the snow too! Made of plastic.

One drawer nightstand or side table

Love the curved top on the drawer! Could be refinished easily if you don't like the distressed look! One shelf below.SOLD!

Two more scales!

Folk art weathervane

This came from the auction last night. This week's favorite piece! Large wooden base with copper directional and a wooden fish on top. This measures 14 inches tall, and directional span is 20 inches across. Fish is 15 inches across. Unsigned. SOLD!

This is the large chicken heater I posted a few weeks ago

One of my very wise dealer friends thought this chicken heater would make a great hanging lamp for a large barn or loft area. I hung it from the beam just to show it in a different capacity. It looks so much like a UFO, about to abduct those poor dolls below it! SOLD!

Vintage fireplace and mantel

This is pretty cool! Behind the birch logs is a spinning cylinder with large bulb to replicate burning logs! This is very sturdy and made of wood with faux bricks that look and feel very much like the real thing. This fireplace measures 5 feet 6 inches wide by 44-3/4 inches tall and is 20 inches deep. There are also andirons and some fireplace utensils that go with it if desired. This is one more of the pieces that came from my neighbor's truckload.SOLD!

Trying to bring in some more spring!

With another storm on the way, I had to cheer myself up, and hopefully you with some touches of spring. I just received this awesome wool felted rabbit hand crafted by Laura Goines of Ohio. He stands 13 inches tall and has a rusty old bedspring on his back to hold some naturals. He reminds me of my favorite childhood book, The Velveteen Rabbit. Rabbit is SOLD!

Hand painted gourds

I love these! They are egg shaped dried gourds hand painted with rabbits by Laura Goines of The Little Shop Antiques and Gardens/ R.S. Goines maker of Fine Furniture. Located in Ohio. These are each so unique and would be wonderful in a bowl as a grouping, or singly in a little egg cup!

Large galvanized chicken nester

Spent an hour searching for the rooster to display him with the nester! He is not for sale, as I like to use him here and there. Nester is a bit rough on back. It has two fold down perches for roosting. Also has hanging brackets. My vision for this is to hang it on a shed or chicken coop just as a display. It seems more and more people are raising chickens in the backyard. This would make a great addition to your rustic barn or shed. Measures 5 feet across and stands 34 inches tall at highest point of roof. 23 inches deep. SOLD!

Tall four drawer bureau

Another piece from my neighbor's truckload! Lovely tall four drawer bureau, with dovetailed joins on drawers. Right side has some veneer missing at base. Bureau is on wheels. Measures 30 by 46-1/2 inches tall, and is 17-1/2 inches deep. Drawers open nice and smooth! SOLD!
