Rusty hanging scale
The face is so rusted you can't even tell who made it, but it was made in New York. Wonderful flat scale pan perfect for display. I can never resist these old scales! SOLD!
Primitive apple peeler
Stoneware batter bowl, well worn!
This is the part about antiques that fascinates me, to see these old items that were so obviously used. It has a few cracks and some chips, but to me that tells the story of it's usefulness. Imagine the batters that were mixed in this bowl by loving hands! The diameter is approx. 10-1/2 inches. SOLD!
Wonderful little vintage folding wire cart
Amazing ice box door
I went to my friends store, Bittersweet Blessings in Chester, NH. They have just moved into an old Victorian building that was once part of the Chester college. There are many rooms of wonderful seasonal items. Currently, it's like walking into spring when you go in, with bunnies, eggs, flowers, etc. Upstairs there are several dealers with diverse items from shabby chic to primitive antiques. I went up last week to get an issue of A Primitive Place magazine and there was this fantastic door! I just fell in love with it. Very heavy! Wonderful green chippy paint and the hardware is gorgeous! Door measures approx. 24 by 31 inches. I wanted to keep it but when I brought it into the house, it was the same old story.....no room! Check out their webpage at www.bittersweet-blessings.com or find them on facebook!

Handcrafted miniature hutch
This is a beautifully handcrafted piece of furniture. It's not doll house sized, more of a piece that would go on a cupboard, shelf, table, or can hang on the wall. The hutch stands 14 inches tall and is 6 inches wide. Shown here with a little oil lamp and an adorable miniature Beaumont pottery crock with cow on front.
Mini Beaumont crock is sold!
