Beautiful primitive! Early dough box with square nails, very well used. This is a large one measuring 31 inches long by 16 inches wide. One end has a small hand hold. The other end has a missing piece where the handle would have gone. A gorgeous piece!

Hi, I just saw a beautiful dough box on your website and I wanted to see if you had anything else like it? I've been looking for one to complete my collection and it matches the one I have perfectly - and a second one would make a lovely pair.
I bought my first dough box about 10 years ago at an auction in Connecticut and haven't seen one since - they appear to be about 200 years old.
I hope you didn't let this sell for anything less than $1000 as that is half of what I paid for my first dough box.
