I acquired some of these old sap buckets and taps at an auction recently. I cut down a little tree in the woods just the right size for the bucket. I filled a mason jar with sand and put the tree into the jar. I centered the jar in the bucket and then covered it all with some straw basket filler. Then I tied a piece of homespun around the top edge and attached one of the little taps. The empty buckets with tap will be $5.00 each. Great country look!
