My friend Deb is a very talented craftsperson. A few weeks ago we were talking about how many cool, old things there are that could be painted on. Deb offered to teach me how to paint. She said it was easy, and I said that was easy for her to say! Today she had a project party at her house. I went over as soon as I closed my store at 5. She helped me trace the outline onto the old wheelbarrow side. Then she showed me some of her techniques, and let me use her brushes. It helps a lot to have the correct tools. We got him finished together in one night. I never could have done it without her, and I am extremely grateful to her. I am looking forward to finding more old things to paint on.
