Cool primitive wheel

Not quite sure what this wheel does, but could possibly have been used as a yarn winder. Measures approx. 19 inches in diameter. I just love the look of it!

Wall hanging desk with cubbies.

This could hang on the wall, or sit on a table as it is here. Back is chalkboard for handy notes. Several little cubbies for organizing things.

Just unpacked today!

I found a great new website while looking for blackened beeswax. I ordered some items and today the shipment came. The shop instantly felt more Christmas-y! These little gingerbread men have little raisin buttons and would look adorable in a bowl in your kitchen. Check out for these and other wonderful products.

Wax spice rubbed log cabins

How could I resist these fantastic little log cabins?.......and they smell so good too!

Red and black spice rubbed Santas

These smell so good! They would look cute on a shelf or in a bowl of fresh greens.

Sled with greens

This little sled was cute, but had one cracked slat. What do you do with a cracked sled? You cover it with fresh greens!

Wooden measure

I couldn't find any markings on this one, but it's still a nice one! Has some early repairs on bottom. 14-1/2 inches in diameter.

Small green table

Perfect green chippy paint just in time for holiday display! Measures approx. 20 inches wide by 16 inches deep and 17 inches tall.

Neat bin made from old crates and Quaker oat box

Interesting bin would be great next to a fireplace or on a porch to hold kindling.
Would also be pretty filled with greens!
26 inches wide by 32-1/2 inches tall by 17 inches deep.

Pretty wooden wheelbarrow in bluish green paint. Still some time to display this with some greens, but as soon as I see any snowflakes, this will be going into storage!

Santa lullaby wind up doll

I thought this Santa would play a Christmas tune, but he plays a lullaby!

Pretty gate leg folding table

One of the very few pieces I have on consignment. This is just beautiful in person. Top can be folded in half to make a half round table, folded up as shown, or folded down with a swinging gate leg to make it a full round table.

Swift's Jewel Shortening

Great old shortening tin with lid. Nice graphics on front of tin. 14-1/2 inches tall by 11 inches in diameter.

Old country store receipt cabinet

Very cool old country store receipt cabinet. Has several trays of receipts. Most of the customers had a store account so they carried balances, and their purchases would just be added to their tab. Trays are on a hinge so they fold up to make way for the next tray.

A close up of one of the receipts from the 1950's

Got to love the prices!! $3.52 for #4 pounds of coffee, and 79 cents for suspenders. It was a general store, so obviously they carried a little bit of everything.

Calf feeding bucket

I don't know why I love this type of farm equipment, but I do!!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I know it's early, but I put Santa together in the house when I had some free time. I couldn't deal with him being inside when my house is decorated for Thanksgiving! So, he had to come out. He's not for sale, he's just helping to set the mood!

Little red wooden sleigh

Love the look of this little wooden sleigh. It has some minor damage to one of the runners. I think it would be cute decorated with some live greens on a porch!

Wooden sleigh

This home made wooden sleigh has been upstairs over the garage. After taking it down the very narrow staircase, I decided it may be for sale if anyone asks! I don't think I want to try to get it back up there.
SOLD! My son will be happy that this won't be going back into the hangout above the garage!

Twig wreath

Great look to this twig wreath. Could be decorated or left as is.

Sue's handcrafted Santa

Sue makes these wonderful Santas from old coverlets, and uses sheep's wool for the trimming. I love that she makes some in colors other than red!

Santa crow

Hand crafted Santa crow is nested among Sweet Annie and chenille candy canes, all tucked inside a larger Santa hat. Trimmed with sheep's wool.

Your choice for winter recreation!

Last night I stayed out in the store to greet trick-or-treaters (we had four!) and to change over the displays from Halloween to winter. Here are some of the sleds, snowshoes, and toboggans currently available.

Traverse sled

Gorgeous old traverse sled is almost seven feet long! Front runners turn independently. Shown here perched on two old crates.

Small vintage Santa

Cute vintage Santa made of plastic. Also new this year, mini pine trees in burlap.
Santa is SOLD!

Six foot pencil tree

Tall and thin pencil tree is a perfect fit for a small space. This has been in my shed, and is priced to sell!

New mini-light pop ons are snowflakes

Little snowflake pop ons go right over your mini lights. Then they can be wrapped around a garland, or used just about anywhere. Indoor outdoor use!
