One of my very wise dealer friends thought this chicken heater would make a great hanging lamp for a large barn or loft area. I hung it from the beam just to show it in a different capacity. It looks so much like a UFO, about to abduct those poor dolls below it! SOLD!
Vintage fireplace and mantel
This is pretty cool! Behind the birch logs is a spinning cylinder with large bulb to replicate burning logs! This is very sturdy and made of wood with faux bricks that look and feel very much like the real thing. This fireplace measures 5 feet 6 inches wide by 44-3/4 inches tall and is 20 inches deep. There are also andirons and some fireplace utensils that go with it if desired. This is one more of the pieces that came from my neighbor's truckload.SOLD!
Trying to bring in some more spring!
With another storm on the way, I had to cheer myself up, and hopefully you with some touches of spring. I just received this awesome wool felted rabbit hand crafted by Laura Goines of Ohio. He stands 13 inches tall and has a rusty old bedspring on his back to hold some naturals. He reminds me of my favorite childhood book, The Velveteen Rabbit. Rabbit is SOLD!
Hand painted gourds
I love these! They are egg shaped dried gourds hand painted with rabbits by Laura Goines of The Little Shop Antiques and Gardens/ R.S. Goines maker of Fine Furniture. Located in Ohio. These are each so unique and would be wonderful in a bowl as a grouping, or singly in a little egg cup!
Large galvanized chicken nester
Spent an hour searching for the rooster to display him with the nester! He is not for sale, as I like to use him here and there. Nester is a bit rough on back. It has two fold down perches for roosting. Also has hanging brackets. My vision for this is to hang it on a shed or chicken coop just as a display. It seems more and more people are raising chickens in the backyard. This would make a great addition to your rustic barn or shed. Measures 5 feet across and stands 34 inches tall at highest point of roof. 23 inches deep. SOLD!
Tall four drawer bureau
Another piece from my neighbor's truckload! Lovely tall four drawer bureau, with dovetailed joins on drawers. Right side has some veneer missing at base. Bureau is on wheels. Measures 30 by 46-1/2 inches tall, and is 17-1/2 inches deep. Drawers open nice and smooth! SOLD!

Lovely bureau with mirror
This is a beauty with inlaid floral design, one large drawer over two. Dovetailed drawers, and bureau is on wheels. Was made by Kane Masterbilt Quality. Old original wavy glass in mirror but not all silvered as they often are. This measures 42 by 19 and stands 36 inches tall. Mirror adds another 32 inches in height. This is one of the pieces from my neighbor's truckload. The rest is waiting for available space in store! SOLD!
Prairie State Incubator Co. Incubator from Pennsylvania
This is my second large incubator on a stand. The first one was all galvanized aluminum, but this is like a piece of furniture! I could see it being used as a kitchen island. It has the old heater still attached, but that comes off easily, if desired. Glass viewing door drops down to show the cloth covered tray for holding eggs. This measures 29-1/2 by 34 inches wide and stands 37-1/2 inches tall. SOLD!

Great old book with cool illustrations will tell you everything you want to know about productive poultry husbandry, and some things you may not want to know, like how to pluck them! SOLD!
Another chicken heater!
In case the brooder from two weeks ago was too big, here is another! This one is cool too, still has the little wick and burner inside for heating the coop with kerosene. This one is just about 12 inches tall and the diameter about 20 inches across. SOLD!
Framed Mack's Milk chocolate trading cards
Sweet little framed and mounted Mack's chocolate trading cards. Cards date back to the late 1800's, and show two little boys, top playing music with cat and goose, and bottom dressed as clowns with their dog. This was professionally framed and the frame measures 8 by 10 inches.
